The Grayson County Sheriff's Office Property & Evidence Custodian is responsible for all property in custody which is found, recovered, requires safekeeping, and evidentiary in nature that has been accepted and stored in a secure storage area.
When the property is evidence it is held until the court case has concluded and our office has received a court order. Otherwise the property is secured in an appropriate manner until it is returned to its rightful owner. Property cleared for release to owner, can be picked up at the Grayson County Sheriff's Office by appointment only. Proper identification is required prior to release of property and a background check is required to release firearms. If you would like to schedule an appointment or inquire about the status of property please email Sgt. Jason Luedke at [email protected] or call our office at (270) 971-1836. |
